JKA Bass Rock is an inclusive, family-orientated Karate club with a range of classes to suit all levels and abilities. Our underlying principle is to extend the range of knowledge for every individual who trains with us.
We are a non-profit club with the student’s progress in JKA Karate being our main focus. Our instructors give their time simply because they wish to share the essence and benefits of karate-do.
Paola Burrows 4th Dan JKA – C licensed Instructor, D licensed referee, D licensed grading examiner.
Paola has 15 years of experience teaching JKA karate within other JKA Scotland clubs with students from the age of 4 to 74. She has competed at local, national and international levels and has refereed at both the Junior and Senior European championships.
John Lunn 3rd Dan JKA
John has 11 years of teaching experience with students of all ages and abilities. He has been a competitor at local, national and international levels.
